My Search Funds Proof of Payment

My Search Funds is a way to make a little extra cash just by doing your daily searches. When you sign up you'll be asked to replace your browsers search box with their own which when used will return results from the search engine Ask.com and for using it to search you'll earn a few cents in return.

The program is still in it's early stages, not a lot of people would have been payed yet, but by April 15 2008 we'll hopefully see a steady stream of people with proof of payment.

Minimum payout is £20 (don't worry it's worldwide) and is payed through paypal or check, doing a couple thousand natural searches over the course of a month should let you reach the minimum payout.

Another thing to consider is they pay you a cut of your referrals earnings as well, 3 levels deep, for example if you have 10 referrals and they each have 10 referrals and each of them also have 10 referrals and everyone did 5 searches a day using the search box you could possibly earn £120.00 a month.

There's not a lot out there as the program is pretty new, but after April 15 we should be seeing a whole lot more hopefully and I'll keep this post updated in that event.

Update 1: My Search funds have started paying people as of the 15 of April, though slowly as they hadn't expected so much to process. I've read on a few forums that people have been payed but as yet there's no proof of payment images yet. We'll see what happens over the next few days.

Update 2: So the latest April 15 payment date has gone and well there's still not a lot of proof of payment, but by the next payout date there should be a lot more, when the buzz was happening a lot of people who signed up then should be eligible for the next pay period.

Update 3: My Search Funds has been known as Homepages Friends for awhile now, the earnings look the same despite the name change. They've also changed the search engine they're partnered with the Yahoo search. I've got to say I haven't been using their search homepage all that much, why? I'm a google fan.

But here's a few estimates for ya, it looks like if you make 100 searches you'll earn £2.00 and if you're able to refer people to sign up under you, for every 1000 searches they make you'll earn £1.00.
