What's strange is that they didn't run away, incredibly dangerous, but if they had we wouldn't have this video of huge chunks of ice falling from the sky or of a building or something.
Charles Fort's "Book of the Damned" written in 1919 cites many cases of falling ice from newspaper reports. The examples he gives are from the 1800's before there were planes in the sky or any "global warming".
